As a leader in the portable cabin industry, Just Cabins provides high-quality cabin rentals and exceptional service to our customers nationwide.The hours and days of this role are negotiable, ideally working between 25 to 30 hours a week.ResponsibilitiesPerform bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and discrepancies are resolved.Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer collections.Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ensure adherence to internal controls.Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support financial planning and analysis.Work closely with Management responding to inquiries and preparing necessary documentation to ensure timely completion of financial analysis, reporting, and tax filings.Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.Provide accounting training and support to Franchisees as requiredRequirements:Proven experience across a broad range of accounting functions.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.Proficiency in accounting software (including Xero) and Microsoft Excel.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial recordkeeping.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.Please note that this role is only open to those with current NZ work rights.Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.Opportunity for professional growth and advancement within a reputable company.A supportive work environment that fosters learning and development.Dynamic and friendly team culture.If you are a motivated individual looking to contribute to a successful and growing company, we would love to hear from you.
