Risk Insights Specialist – Consumer Banking and Wealth (CBW) Britomart, Auckland Full time, Permanent position The Risk Insights Specialist is responsible for identifying, assessing and mitigating risks within the Consumer Banking and Wealth business unit. You will play a key role in transformation to deliver best practice assurance techniques using quantitative methodologies and analysis. You will take the lead in designing and delivering process automation to release capacity across the Quality Assurance team.
As an excellent communicator you will be able to work cross functionally across both the data and risk teams to design and deliver insightful real time reporting. You will have excellent process understanding, automation design skills, and data visualisation capabilities that will be key to supporting the delivery of best practice assurance that informs where areas of heightened risk or process gaps exist.

Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders
Demonstratable experience with process automation and simplification
Highly skilled in analysing and using data to create insight and tell a story in a clear and easy to understand way
Strong report writing skills
Self-motivated and strong initiative management skills
Process mapping experience would be beneficial
Demonstrable commercial acumen and risk awareness
Good understanding of banks, products and processes and the regulatory environment they operate in (particularly consumer banking)
Relevant Tertiary qualification (Statistics, Mathematics, IT, Finance or similar)
Working knowledge of Power BI and SQL will be advantageous
An interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) is preferred.
