Neonatal Clinical information Systems (NCIS) – Palmerston North Hospital Mo te tunga | About the role The Neonatal Clinical information Systems Specialist (NCIS Specialist) is a senior nursing role responsible for providing comprehensive specialist expertise and clinical leadership to the health professionals using Information Systems within Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua – MidCentral Neonatal Services. It will also be integral in maintaining quality standards of information record management and application to clinical practice across the neonatal service to meet individual, divisional and organisational requirements. This role operates Monday-Friday with hours available are between 7am and 7pm, we can accommodate flexible working hours on these days, and may consider a job-share arrangement alongside another clinical role.
Ko wai koe| About You Minimal 3 years experience in Neonatal NursingPrevious experience using the BadgerNet Maternity or Neonatal SystemsExperience undertaking administration functions within a busy and complex project environmentExperience providing education in both individual and group settingsCompetent in use of Microsoft Office and Internet based applicationsBusiness/Technical SkillsExcellent communication skills with ability to communicate with a wide range of health professionals.Can be relied upon to effectively manage confidential informationDemonstrates an understanding of continuous quality improvementSkills & Attributes
