Lead Business Analyst at New Zealand Transport Agency, Wellington Join one of our project delivery teamsLead Business Analyst with Scrum Master experienceFixed term until 30 May 2025We have a fixed term/secondment opportunity until 30 May 2025 for a Lead Business Analyst to join our project team supporting the design and delivery of our Safety Camera's programme.Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunityIn this role you will work closely with the Product Manager, Product Owners and Scrum Masters to translate releases and initiatives from product management to actionable prioritised outcomes on the domain backlogs to deliver ongoing robust solutions to the BAU teams operating the safety camera system. You will also lead and mentor a medium sized team of process BAs across the domains to maintain consistency and quality of delivery of the programme backlog.This is an exciting opportunity to join a programme committed to building the people and technology capabilities needed to operate a best practice safety camera system across Aotearoa New Zealand's roading network. You will be joining at the delivery stage of this programme responsible for key deliverables contributing to the programmes successful iterative implementation of its goals.Ko koe tenei | About youTo be successful in this role, you will bring:Significant and proven experience in Business Analysis with advanced analytical skills and ability to evaluate and resolve highly complex issuesExperience collaboratively working within an agile (Scrum) delivery environmentThe ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders through a variety of mechanismsDemonstrated risk management and quality assurance experienceLeadership grounded in empathy, respect, and motivate, and help others navigate to common groundA curious, open mind and be adaptable to changing circumstancesAbility to translate complex business and customer needs into audience appropriate languageExperience working on a large scale programme implementing strategic changeYou will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Maori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Maori.
