Industrial Electrician

Duties: Accurately record labour in timesheetsAccurately and clearly record job information on job sheetsAccurately record purchase order numbers when purchasing materials for jobsAccurately storing job documentation to the company serverOthers tasks as required within reasonWorking with and supervising sub-contractors workNo complaints from customer or co-workersNo returning to redo workNo returning to complete a missed component of jobTeam members working effectively togetherProject goals and objectives are metNo complaints regarding non-compliance of policiesZero HarmProvide exceptional high quality electrical work to our customers including: install, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical wiring, equipment and machinery. Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical installations.Perform all work in compliance with the Electricity Act 1992, the Electrical Safety Regulations and the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015Qualifications/Training/Experience: NZ registered Electrician with current practicing licence2 years minimum experience - preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting Holds current certificates in Hazard ID, Permit to Work, Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Detection would be advantageousPLC/machines/control logics experience is desirable Interpreting diagrams and diagnostics General knowledge of health & safety acts and regulationsStrong knowledge of industry's Acts, Regulations and standardsApplicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit. To be success must pass a pre-employment drug screen and complete a ministry of justice criminal record check. Own transport is a must.
