Te whiwhinga mahi| The Opportunity The Office of the National Director, Hospital and Specialist Services (H&SS) provides strategic advice and support to the National Director and wider H&SS leadership team to support the delivery of high-quality health services that deliver on the reform promise and build trust and confidence in New Zealand's H&SS system. This function will focus on the timely provision of information to a variety of audiences including the public, and delivering on our statutory obligations, including under the Official Information Act. We are in search of a Coordinator to join our team in this permanent full time opportunity. You will be the pivotal point of contact for the team, providing critical coordination across the team. Partner and collaborate with team members, providing support when required where possible and manage the central Hospital and Specialist Services (H&SS) mailbox including, logging items for action and directing/redirecting queries as appropriate. This role will provide you with an opportunity for growth, development and future career progression opportunities. You will be an experienced Coordinator who has managed shared inboxes along with accurate tracking of deliverables including due dates and follow up actions. You will have experience setting up and supporting meetings and workshops, including helping to develop visually appealing content. Working knowledge of the Official Information & Meetings Act 1982 and/or experience managing correspondence and processes under that or a similar statutory process will be beneficial. Excellent knowledge of and experience using the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, etc.) Competency with design / PowerPoint is essential with the ability to comfortably support the team in converting complex content into simple and clear messages and briefings Experience managing the scheduling and coordination of meetings and other activities A commitment to being a good Te Tiriti partner in all your actions.
