NZRegistered Health professional with a Mental Health Scope of Practice ¤t Annual Practicing Certificate. 2years experience within specialist mental healthMy strength, is not the strength of one, it is the strength of many Mote tunga | About the role We are looking for a Case Manager with a Nursing or Allied Health background, who has the clinical skills required to assist people with current or ongoing mental health problems and to maintain their place in the community. This role will be working within the community and within our integrated model of care.
Our Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team is currently looking for skilled and passionate mental health professional. The new role is vital to the mental health of our children and young people across the West Coast as you will be supporting them through their journey along with their whanau. This role will be working within the community alongside our NGO partner Poutini Waiora and within our integrated model of care. There will be opportunities and support for professional development and ongoing role development. 
Undertaking allcomponents of case management, including: comprehensive assessment, riskassessment and management, recovery, and treatment planningProviding client-centredcare, utilising evidence-based treatment strategies including, whereappropriate, talking therapiesTaking part in the localcrisis response service roster.Working Monday to Friday Kowai koe | About You NZ Registered Health professional as a Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist or Physiotherapist.Excellent communication& relationship building skills, this is a developing role with theopportunity to develop and enhance the service provision and personal practice.Passion for child &youth mental healthFlexibility to workautonomously as well as part of a multi-disciplinary teamUnderstanding andapplication of the principles of the treaty of Waitangi, with a culturally safeand appropriate approach to practiceCommitment to ongoingprofessional developmentA strong understandingof Maori health inequity and Maori population needUnderstanding ofcontemporary approaches to mental health and wellbeingClean & full driverslicence as you will be traveling in DHB cars, this role encompasses the wholeof the Westcoast Karamea to Haast.Permanent, Permanent/Full Time, Permanent/Part Time
