Purpose of Position: To be responsible for overseeing the organization's accounts payable and maintenance of related supporting records.
Accountabilities: Daily or as required invoice processing into Coupa procure to pay system. Uploading of supplier files. Creditor payments weekly, 20 th of the month and as required. Creditor reconciliations. Supplier and AP codes set up and maintenance. Responding to supplier queries relating to accounts and following up with appropriate action. Generation of reports from related systems as required. Month-end creditor accrual journals. Involvement in continuous improvement and system enhancement projects. Maintenance of work instructions in AP section of finance manual. Assisting Finance Manager in various ad hoc accounting support tasks as required. Ideal Person Specification Good communication skills, both oral and written. Clearly spoken English. AP full cycle experience in a high-volume environment. Accurate and fast data entry skills. Competence with Microsoft Word and Excel, with Excel to intermediate level. Experience with an ERP system especially MYOB Greentree an advantage.
