Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacher

We have a fixed term/part time (0.6 FTTE) position available for the 2025 year in our Y9–12 space. This is a fixed term part time position for 2025 while we await change of class status and establish our Wharekura space.
We have a small establishing Wharekura space that learn within an integrated learning environment in Y9–12. You will be part of a small team to share your expertise to ensure the success of our students.
You will be working on a project to support the implementation of an integrated learning and teaching plan for our Wharekura space. This will include creating and teaching relevant programs and resources that will be able to be implemented at Ngataki School throughout the year and beyond. You will work in consultation with teaching staff to support the learning outcomes for our students.
Secondary teachers with curriculum strengths in PE, science, environmental science and sound knowledge of the Y9–10 curriculum should apply.
