Xero/ Payroll/ System Support ConsultantEquation is a well-respected system implementer within the Xero Community and the wider Xero Ecosystem. We work with businesses nationally and across Australasia.Our growing company provides payroll, financial management, education, recruiting services, and implementation of cloud-based systems such as Xero, WorkflowMax, CIN7, Unleashed, and ProjectWorks.About the roleEquation Limited is seeking a dedicated Xero/ Payroll/ System Support Consultant to join our team in our Christchurch office on a part-time basis of 20-25 hours per week in early 2025. If you have a passion for providing exceptional support, problem-solving, and empowering clients to optimize their systems, this role could be the perfect fit. No day at Equation will be quite the same, as you not only support businesses but also build on your product knowledge and upskill.What you'll be doingProviding expert technical support and training for Xero accounting software and payroll systems.Assisting clients with system setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.Delivering ongoing support and guidance to ensure clients are maximizing the efficiency of their accounting and payroll processes.Documenting and updating system processes and procedures.Liaising with the broader team to escalate and resolve complex issues.Continually expanding your knowledge of accounting and payroll software to provide the best possible service.What we're looking forProven experience working with Xero accounting software and payroll systems.Excellent technical skills and the ability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of issues.Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in a clear and understandable way.A detail-oriented approach and the ability to document processes and procedures effectively.A passion for continuously learning and expanding your technical expertise.Relevant qualifications in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar field.What you will bring:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to produce results in required timeframes.Ability to manage conflicting demands and changing priorities.Intermediate Word and Excel knowledge.Adaptable, flexible, and have a positive attitude.Strong attention to detail.Have a sense of humour.Happy to work within a small team.In return we offer excellent remuneration and the opportunity to work in a business where you are valued and can contribute to making a difference with SMEs.Apply now to join our team as a Xero/ Payroll/ System Support Consultant!To apply please send your C.V with a cover letter to ****** or contact Nicole Elvy 027 2866 588.
