We are looking for part-time Support Workers in the Hamilton area for our Whanau Support Services.
This role offers 10-15 guaranteed hours weekly to start, with the potential for additional hours after a few weeks. Candidates must be available to work weekday afternoons from 3pm to 6pm and on Saturdays.

You will support people in their home and community to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives and achieve their personal dreams and goals by engaging in activities they enjoy, such as swimming, attending sporting events, arts and crafts, movies, or shopping.

Prior experience is not essential as full training is provided.
A full driver's license and owning your own vehicle is essential.
A desire to support people to learn new skills and achieve outcomes.
Somebody who has the initiative to encourage others towards their goals, is energetic, outgoing, and can think outside the box. You need to be respectful of others' thinking and their way of living life, which may differ from your own.
Empathy, respect, and cultural awareness are important in this role as the people we support come from diverse backgrounds with varying needs and interests.
