Web Chat Officer

Job Description: We are currently looking for a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Web Chat Officer at Bank of New York Mellon Corp. in Christchurch, Canterbury, NZ. This is a part-time position at the Associate Level, requiring a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities:1. Provide exceptional customer service through web chat to assist clients with inquiries, issue resolution, and account maintenance.2. Communicate effectively with clients to address their needs and provide timely and accurate information.3. Utilize problem-solving skills and critical thinking to resolve complex issues and escalate when necessary.4. Work independently to manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously while maintaining a high level of professionalism.5. Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.6. Stay up-to-date on product and service information to provide accurate and relevant assistance to clients.7. Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards. Requirements:1. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.2. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.3. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.4. Adaptability to changing priorities and business needs.5. Strong decision-making skills and the ability to think innovatively to solve problems.6. Proficiency with web chat platforms and CRM software.7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.8. Experience in the banking or financial services industry is a plus.
