Taitara Mahi – Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Permanent full-time

We currently have a vacancy for a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator.
The role of Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator includes maintenance of the treatment plant and ensures that the wastewater treatment facility is maintained and operational at all times. The role also assists with:
Consent compliance monitoring
Some administrative tasks
Supervision of suppliers and contractors while they are on-site
We are seeking a qualified operator with either the Level 4 National certificate in wastewater treatment or the Level 5 NZ diploma in wastewater treatment. The successful candidate will have:
An aptitude towards mechanical maintenance and general labouring duties
Excellent communication and customer service skills
The ability to manage their time well
A commitment to safety at all times
