About the Role
We have openings for Warehouse Operators on our afternoon shift at our Penrose Distribution Center. This is a waged role working Monday to Friday (1pm to 9:30pm).
What You Will Do
Receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods
Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
Loading and unloading trucks
Maintaining inventory accuracy and quality standards
Following health and safety procedures and policies
Working as part of a team to meet deadlines and targets

About You
To succeed in this role you will need to have strong communication skills, be safety conscious, physically fit, and reliable. You'll have excellent attention to detail when it comes to order accuracy, have a willing attitude and be self-motivated.
To be considered for this role you will possess:
A valid forklift licence, preferably reach or has held a licence in the past
Previous experience in warehousing or distribution
Good numeracy and literacy skills
A positive attitude and a strong work ethic
Fresh ideas and out-of-the-box thinking in warehouse work
You will need the right to work in New Zealand and be happy to complete a police check and pre-employment drug & alcohol test as part of the recruitment process.
