The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating our various vocational education programmes and working with key personnel to ensure there is coherency for students, staff and whanau. The role will also include guiding students through various vocational courses, fostering industry partnerships, and preparing students for future careers and further education. We are seeking an experienced, inspiring, and collaborative student-focused leader who is culturally responsive and relational. The successful candidate will be someone who loves working with rangatahi, can build positive, learning focused relationships and enjoys leading teams.Co-curricular involvement in the wider life of the school is encouraged and an advantage.Taupo-nui-a-Tia College is a co-educational secondary school with a roll of approximately 1100 students. About thirty percent of our students identify as Maori, and we have strong connections with our local iwi, Ngati Tuwharetoa.
