Home to Villa Maria, our vision is to be one of the world's great wine companies, sharing the best of New Zealand wine with the world.
Our grapes come from over 6,000 hectares of planted vineyards and blended in our wineries across three of the renowned wine regions - Marlborough, Hawke's Bay, and Gisborne - and our wines are exported globally. From grape to glass, we're passionate about wine and we love what we do!
The Role
As we gear up for Vintage 2025, we're on the hunt for Kitchen Assistants to help fuel our Vintage team at our 15 Valley Winery in Marlborough !
Help to create a hearty, healthy lunch every day prepared from the freshest ingredients, as well as morning and afternoon tea, for our busy winery teams
Support the kitchen team with food preparation, cooking, and service
Cleaning and dishwashing duties in the kitchen
This is a full time, fixed term role. Typically, vintage starts late February, finishing in late-April
Our kitchen runs 24/7, comprising of two teams working 12 hours, therefore you'll need to be available to work shifts of up to 12 hours, 6 days per week , at vintage peak
We have day shifts and night shifts available
For the team at the heart of this annual experience, there's much more to be made in addition to wine. You'll make great friends (it'll feel like family by the end), good money, new skills and incredible memories. That's just a taste of what you can look forward to making when you're part of our vintage crew.
15 Valley nestles into the foothills of the Wither Hills and is one of New Zealand's largest wineries. Experienced winemakers, cutting edge technology such as smart tanks, bespoke systems and our amazing cellar teams help us to produce and export our globally renowned sauvignon blanc.
About You
Bring your previous kitchen experience , ideally in a high-volume catering environment; this could be a school, marae, camp, hospital, events or similar. As well as -
Attitude, motivation and a willingness to learn
Loves a challenge!
Team player
Enjoys a fast paced environment
Sense of humour and "can do - will do" attitude
