Otago community hospice is seeking a urban planning analyst for our specialist palliative care team in Dunedin, New Zealand. At Otago community hospice, the ideal candidate will have the ability to provide the highest quality care to patients within the hospital. Our urban team coordinator plays a vital role in leading a diverse and multidisciplinary team. They must have the ability to support a team towards a common goal of providing exemplary palliative care. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $130,278 – $130,278 per year.Qualifications for Urban Team Coordinator:Candidate must hold a minimum of five years post-graduate experience in palliative care.Must have prior experience in areas such as acute medical, oncology, and palliative care.Hold or be willing to pursue a Master's Degree in health sciences within 12 months of appointment.Confident in public speaking and education delivery.Possesses moderate to expert level IT skills, including proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.Requirements for Urban Team Coordinator:Candidate must have the ability to work autonomously as well as within a multidisciplinary team.Be a self-motivated, innovative, and empathetic person.Must maintain professional credibility with colleagues and others.Must have a commitment to continuous learning.Have the ability to cope with stress, manage conflicting demands, and handle a heavy workload.Skills:Ability to promote excellence in palliative care service provision.Provision of effective clinical leadership.Effective day-to-day management of allocated clinical team.Ensure the team adheres to procedures and organisational policies.Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.Benefits:Work efficiently through autonomy and teamwork.Personal fulfilment from self-motivation and empathy.Opportunity for continuous professional growth and development.Competitive salary range.Offers flexible working hours.At Otago community hospice, we are dedicated to providing high-quality care to our patients and their families.
