The opportunity

An established portfolio within our commercial liability & financial lines team.

Enjoy a varied and versatile role, giving you exposure to a broad spectrum of financial lines and general liability.

Be part of a collaborative, knowledgeable team with the opportunity to be coached & mentored by a leader whose specialty is financial lines!

Hybrid role with a mix of working from home & office, & happy to talk flexible working.

Your new role

Develop & manage relationships with Commercial Brokers, applying technical expertise within financial lines and liability.

Manage renewal portfolio and new business targets.

Ensure brokers are engaged and familiar with QBE products, services, and appetite.

Deliver timely decisions and problem-solving solutions for customers and intermediaries.

Actively increase and share knowledge of QBE capability, risk appetite and products as well as brokers' operations to strengthen our delivery of innovative solutions.

About you
With experience in the insurance industry, you are:

Passionate about insurance, and the positive impact it has on businesses and communities.

Excited by understanding the nuances of liability & understanding the risks.

Experienced in either underwriting or claims, within financial lines.

Good communicator & comfortable with building & maintaining relationships with brokers.

Comfortable with negotiating.

Analytical with problem-solving skills.
