Work at New Zealand's largest mining operation, with the flexibility of an 8 days on, 6 days off roster.Learn and develop the following skills:Play a key role in the facilitation of "mine production plans", through surveying activities.Setout of development headings & product blast brings, prior to drill & blast activity, ensuring this is all achieved to the highest safety standards.Daily planning of surveying activities, to maximize gold production.Pickup and setout of geological and geotechnical structural markups, working collaboratively with other departments.Work closely with surveyors from the open pit to share data and continuous improvement of processes.The Underground Mine Surveyor will participate in various projects within the Underground Department, involving the streamlining of spatial data capture and delivery to the broader operation.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Surveying or Equivalent.Current New Zealand Driver's License, with the ability to drive a manual vehicle.1 year+ Underground Mine Surveying Experience or 2 years+ experience surveying in a heavy industrial or civil construction environment.Additional InformationThis is your opportunity to work at NZ's largest gold mine, in a stunning location.No more FIFO!
