No one day is the same for our team, drivers can start the workday in a Gantry truck, and then move to a Hook truck, a Wheelie bin truck or a Mini skip truck, so each day is never the same.About the role/sDelivery of Waste Management services to our customers ie skip bins, wheelie bins, gantry bins etcCollecting customer paymentUsing EFTPOS machines and handheld tabletsProviding friendly customer serviceConducting prestart vehicle checksDriving in a safe manner and lawful mannerTo be successful in this role you must have:A strong focus on Occupation Health and SafetyOutstanding communication skills with a friendly approach to customer serviceAn excellent work ethic and be flexible regarding work allocatedPossess the ability to drive a vehicle with care and respect (ie as if you personally own it)Ideally have a minimum of 6 months experience driving a class 2 vehicleWork rights for New ZealandThe ability to work autonomouslyA good level of physical fitness and agility for manual handling tasks (up to 25kg)Reliable transport to be able to get to and from work easily and on timeAn interest in learning and wanting to develop a career in TransportBe a team playerAs a condition of employment Drivers must be willing to undergo pre employment and random drug and alcohol testing as and when requested.Our employees get paid for every hour that they work.
