We are seeking a dynamic Transport & Container Team Leader to join our team at our brand new warehouse. In this role you will be responsible for leading the team through the daily activities of transport and import & export departments to ensure provision of efficient and professional services to clients. Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 3:30 pm
About the role:
Supervise and lead the team to ensure all daily tasks are completed
Ensure all DC delivery booking are ready and loaded for delivery
Ensuring accurate and timely loading of freight
Report daily on undelivered or delayed freight to the relevent department
Verify the completeness and accuracy of documentation for customs clearance
Oversee and coordinate customs clearance processes for both imports and exports
Assist in providing training and development opportunities for team members
About you:
Minimum of 2 years experience in forklift role | team leading role
Current forklift OSH or counterbalance license - long fork and slipsheet experience preferred
MPI Accredited
Competent in using Microsoft Office
Familar with the Multipick WMS
