Compass Group NZ is experiencing significant growth and we're excited to announce new opportunities within our team! We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Training Specialist. This role is responsible for the development and delivery of training content designed to enhance the skills of the Compass Group frontline workforce.
Responsibilities: Develop and deliver training content to enhance the frontline workforce and mid-level management skills.
Manage the day-to-day operation of the Training Centre in Penrose, including bookings, health and safety and general management.
Design development programmes aligned with business goals and sector needs.
Expand and improve existing induction tools and content.
Facilitate classroom training, online training, and workshops confidently.
Manage NZQA hospitality qualifications.
Coordinate with external stakeholders / Industry Training Organisations.
Minimum Requirements: Previous experience as a learning and development specialist in a similar role.
Experience as a trainer within the hospitality industry, specifically in 4-to-5-star hotels.
Ability to coach and mentor others, including business leaders.
Strong understanding of learning styles and adult education principles.
Outstanding relationship-building and influencing skills.
