Our 400+ staff and contractors enjoy a positive workplace culture, with safety as our number one priority.An opportunity has arisen for a fulltime Trades Assistant / Hot Work Permit Issuer to join our Maintenance team on the Night shift working Monday to Thursday 5.30pm – 3.00am. Additional hours may be required during busy periods with rostered dayshift hours during the Maintenance shut periods.Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator for Secondary Processing, this is a hands-on position, which will work alongside our Night Shift Maintenance Fitters and Mechanical contractors. This role will operate our Pegasus Telehandler, issue hot work permits, be a fire watch, and assist in preventative maintenance, machinery greasing, and other light maintenance work.The successful candidate will ideally be experienced in operating mobile plant, preferably within a construction or heavy industrial environment.
