About the Role
We are actively seeking a capable and driven Trade Qualified Foreman who is eager to do the hard mahi, develop their leadership and management skills and tap into the possibilities offered by being an evolving company. Our Waikato team are currently delivering two single span 60m bridges across a gully. This is technical and complex work which includes access constraints, innovative methodologies, 30,000 m3 of bulk earthworks and associated drainage. If you want to drive the progress of our crews and deliver quality work with a quality team then this is the role for you!
About You
Trade Qualified
Experience in public drainage working at depth and scale: 3 - 10 meters deep
Experience running teams as part of major civil infrastructure projects
Motivated go getter that can drive productivity and take responsibility for the success of the workface
Proven understanding of Health and Safety and QA procedures and reporting
Effective communicator - can create strong relationships with staff, subbies and the community
Able to use benchmarks and offsets controls to construct permanent works
Ability to read drawings, plans and Inspection Test Plans
Strong leadership and site management skill - able to manage 1-10 direct reports
Ability to tell a good joke and have a laugh
