Our Traffic Management (TM) team plays a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently.
We're now seeking an experienced and passionate TM trainer to join our team in Whangarei.
You will be working with key stakeholders in the interest of continual improvement and ensuring services provided are of a high quality.
Completing traffic management assurance inspections as required across the Northland region, recording and reporting on the data collected and providing support to the TM Department Manager and supervisor as required.
In addition to the above you will: Deliver high-quality training programs for the TM team, ensuring they meet industry standards and health and safety regulations.
Support team members in gaining qualifications such as TC (Traffic Controller) and STMS (Site Traffic Management Supervisor).
Keep up to date with the latest industry changes and adapt training programs accordingly.
Collaborate with management to identify training needs and develop tailored solutions.
Promote a safety-first culture through education, mentorship, and on-site support.

We're looking for someone with: Proven experience in traffic management level 2 / 3 Non-Practicing STMS qualification / Category A & B STMS.
Non-practicing Temporary Traffic Management (NP TTM) mentor certification (preferred).
Understanding of Code of Practice for Temporary Traffic Management (CoPTTM), New Zealand guide to temporary traffic management (NZGTTM) and common infrastructure and construction practices (preferred).
Previous experience delivering training programs and qualifications within the industry.
A strong understanding of health, safety, and compliance in traffic management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire others.
Strong organisational skills.
A full, clean NZ driver's license.
