Are you an experienced Manager with experience in construction / design looking for an opportunity to step up in an innovative, growing business? TimberSpan is embracing the use of engineered wood products in the New Zealand construction industry. We're helping change the face of building with sustainable, high performance engineered wood solutions to support any structure, large or small. We're small now, but we've got big plans to grow, so we are on the lookout for a Site Manager. Based in Hastings, Hawkes Bay, TimberSpan is a member of the TUMU family of companies. In this varied role, you will have responsibility for ensuring the profitable, effective operation of the TimberSpan business. You will have an appetite for driving RnD, growth and opportunities within the LVL componentry category. Knowledge of the timber industry and LVL products is essential. With your knowledge of design, building and production systems, you will thrive on the opportunity to support the Business Development Manager to drive an increase in market share of LVL mass timber and hybrid structures as sustainable construction alternatives. To be successful in this role, your skills, experience, and attributes will include: 3+ years management and people leadership experience Knowledge of designs, building systems and production capability Proven track record in customer relationship management Knowledge of LVL products (preferred) Understanding of health, safety, and quality systems Methodical, logical with the ability to make effective decisions A high level of computer literacy including proficiency in CAD.
