17/08/2024 Expressions of interest are invited for a contract position from approximately December 2024 to May 2025. Hours and days worked are negotiable.The Hand Therapists is a small team of therapists working at the Southern Cross Hospital Specialist Centre. We work in clinic with Orthopaedic and Plastic Hand Surgeons and have close working relations with Sports Physicians, GP's and other allied health professionals. Our referral base extends across the South Island. There is never a dull day!Position OverviewThe position suits an experienced NZ Registered Hand Therapist who can work independently (within our team environment), with proven experience and knowledge in acute post operative management.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide acute post-operative management.Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.Communicate effectively with patients and other health professionals.Manage time flexibly to accommodate patient needs.QualificationsMust be a NZ Registered Hand Therapist with relevant experience.
