They are responsible for developing and executing quality assurance and control processes in line with test plans and test cases to verify that software products conform to defined acceptance criteria and behaviours. Test Engineers are central to the selection of testing methodologies and tools and the sharing of these with the agile teams. About You Along with proven experience in end-to-end system testing, including writing test scripts, you'll be an effective communicator with the ability to train others. You'll have a working knowledge of Lean-Agile practices and automated testing tools.
Our ideal candidate will have:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA). Relevant tertiary qualification in IT or similar field. Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman or ReadyAPI. Experience with test automation using open-source tools/frameworks, including BDD tools for front-end, middleware, or mobile automation (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Appium). Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps tools. Experience with test management tools such as Atlassian, Xray, TestRail, or similar. Understanding of SQL with practical experience working with databases. Skilled in writing and executing both manual and automation test cases. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Certification in QA (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus. Experience in performance or security testing is also a plus.
