Technical Support Specialist

The role:

As our Technical Support Specialist, you will have the opportunity to build relationships with regular commercial customers as you conduct Integrated Pest Management reviews and ongoing training. Working across the South Island, you will provide effective pest detection, elimination, and prevention solutions to customers ranging from F&B plants, Restaurants, Hotels & Aged Care facilities.

Assist in conducting root cause analysis and providing pest management solutions for complex pest issues.

Work in conjunction with customers to provide in-field pest risk assessments and support customers with 3rd party audit compliance.

Conduct group training to both customers and Ecolab Associates.

Support in the development and training of new and existing Pest Technicians.

Identify gaps in service reports and service protocols as well as helping enhance associate training plans.

Work with internal teams to review contract amendments and non-contract sales based on risk assessments.

There will be an expectation of 2-3 days a month working away from home.

Our ideal candidate may have:

Experience and/or qualifications as a Pest Technician.

A passion for customer service.

An inquisitive personality with a solution-based mindset to problem solve.

Excellent time management skills and a desire to meet goals and deadlines.
