The role Strong growth in the company has meant the creation of a brand new opportunity for a motivated TECHNICAL SALES & SERVICE SUPPORT individual to take on a role that is based in Auckland, and in support of a busy Manager.
Throughout the initial period of training, and establishment of relationships with customers and suppliers, your key tasks will be: Assisting in developing customer quotes and proposalsCompleting and maintaining associated customer service and sales records, along with inventory managementBeyond that training period the role will then develop into one where you take on more of a direct customer focus, including: Assisting in selling pumps and seal products to existing and new customersConducting customer site visits to evaluate existing systems and ongoing service requirementsProviding technical support and advice to clients in coordination with the Manager and the service teamThe benefits Competitive salary - $80k to $85kCompany vehicle, mobile/tabletHigh performance specialist productsFull training and development, with career growth opportunitiesFree parkingSkill and experience requirements At least three years of successful Sales and Service Support experience within the mechanical engineering sector A working knowledge of pumps and mechanical seals would be a big advantageAn engineering qualification would be useful but not essentialThe potential to understand and have the communication skills to explain technical concepts and solutionsA passion for providing solutions for customers while maintaining a conscientious and professional attitudePlease note we will not consider applications from candidates who do not have the right to reside and work in New Zealand.
You will need to enjoy the structure of a small company dealing with specialist products and happy to work with minimal supervision.
Ideally, you will need to be very well organised and accurate, wanting to learn about the product range and the solutions they provide for all customers you deal with.
