We currently have an exciting opportunity within Nestle Purina PetCare for a Technical Process Operator to join the Production team on Afternoon shift at our Marton Factory.
The Technical Process Operator is responsible for ensuring quantity, quality, and safety of the production process, and to train and coach the Process Operators through subject matter expertise of the area and operating lines.
A day in the life…
Reporting to the Line Owner, key responsibilities include:
Ensuring a safe and efficient work environment Ensuring production meets quality standards Preventative maintenance and operation of production or packing lines Replacing worn or broken parts Improvement work to optimise machine performance Responding to basic breakdowns and supporting trades with more complex issues Problem solving and troubleshooting to reduce defects Training and coaching of Process Operators Supporting machinery changeovers to produce a range of pack sizes and products Working together with the team to deliver planned production quantities
What Will Make You Successful
You will have strong demonstrated experience in a technical field and will have:
Joining a collaborative team in Production, you will be a strong leader with a drive to deliver quality outcomes. 3 years' experience in a technical field, preferably FMCG manufacturing in a similar position. Exposure to TPM, preventive maintenance planning techniques and maintenance execution preferred. Experience participating in basic SH&E and Food Safety training preferred. Recommended to have had participation in the start-up or commissioning of technical equipment and/or production line(s). Be reliable and trustworthy with an outstanding attitude. Take pride in your work environment to maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards. Be great at communication, interpersonal skills and problem-solving.
