Location: Auckland CBD, New ZealandReporting to: Product ManagerOverview:Technical Business Analyst to join a dynamic team focused on delivering digital solutions for a global software company. The role will be pivotal in analyzing software requirements, designing effective solutions, and supporting the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a software development background.Key Responsibilities:Requirements Analysis:Define and document functional requirements for both technical and business stakeholders.Facilitate discussions and workshops to gather feedback and verify requirements.Translate requirements into clear, actionable user stories for the development team.Provide technical support for business initiatives, including evaluating new technologies.Software Development Support:Develop and execute functional and user test plans to ensure solution quality.Conduct user acceptance testing to validate that implemented solutions meet original requirements.Collaborate closely with developers, stakeholders, and management as a liaison.Document technical processes to enhance knowledge sharing within the team.Deployment and Post-Deployment Support:Conduct impact assessments and gap analyses for deployment projects.Provide technical support during deployment and upgrades, ensuring release documentation is accurate.Assist project engineers in documenting requirements and reporting software issues.Qualifications and Experience:Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 5 years in business analysis, including experience in requirement definition, user story creation, and communication with development teams.Technical Expertise: Knowledge of SDLC, software testing, and project management. Familiarity with .NET, C#, SQL Server, or Delphi is a plus.Tools Proficiency: Strong skills in MS Office, SQL, Azure DevOps, and other software tools.Skills and Attributes:Excellent communication and technical writing skills.Proven ability to organize, plan, and prioritize work.Adaptability in a dynamic work environment.High attention to detail with a proactive approach to managing potential issues.Desirable Experience:Experience with industrial control systems, data analytics, or IoT is advantageous, along with additional language skills (e.g., French, Italian, Spanish, or Chinese).
