Team Lead - Mechanical

The ideal candidate will have had exposure to effectively managing teams, fostering collaboration and achieving goals. As the Team Lead you will play a critical role in motivating and guiding your team to success, whilst promoting a positive and productive work environment. What you'll be doing: As the Mechanical Team Lead, your role will be to lead the team, ensuring they have the right tools and knowledge to do their job. Other things that will fill your day -  Provide support, coaching, mentoring to ensure the team continue to grow Ensuring the quality of work leaving the Mechanical team, meets the companies quality and client expectations Build an inclusive team culture by leading by example Promote P&P's service offerings to existing and new clients Getting your hands dirty in the engineering as required About You: A knack for people and leadership Strong written, verbal and communication skills Experience in leading a team, coaching and mentoring Solutions orientated Bachelor of Engineering degree (Mechanical) Minimum of 10 years' experience in Mechanical Engineering/Piping Vessel Design Your Application: Please demonstrate in your cover letter your leadership skills and your experience in coaching and mentoring staff You will be required to hold a Washington Accord Accredited Mechanical Engineering Degree We are 100% NZ owned and operated multi-discipline engineering consultancy based in Taranaki.
