About the Role:
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for data management and leadership? We're looking for a seasoned Team Lead to oversee the Data Management team. In this pivotal role, you'll lead a team of data specialists, ensuring that the data warehouse, reporting, and analysis services meet the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include implementing and upholding data governance frameworks, managing design artefacts, and maintaining strong vendor relationships to support robust data infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a data specialist team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.Establish and oversee data standards and governance frameworks to ensure data integrity and compliance.Manage design artefacts and documentation to support data projects.Manage vendor relationships to ensure optimal data infrastructure support.Contribute to the dynamic Digital Solutions team as they work on high-impact, career-defining legacy projects.About You:
You are an experienced leader with a strong background in data management, particularly within the New Zealand context. You understand the complexities of working within government or similar large organisations and are adept at navigating these challenges to deliver exceptional data services.
