Job Description We are looking for a versatile and motivated gardener with a desire to create and maintain the stunning gardens at our community. Your dedication to great customer service will shine through for our residents, who are at the heart of all we do. We garden using natural techniques and are looking for somebody with a true passion for gardening.
We pay market rates and provide a uniform, including quality wet weather gear, tools, and PPE. We provide training and we promote an educational path for our gardeners' encouraging apprenticeships with Primary ITO.
This is a physically demanding job, and a high level of fitness is required.
Qualifications Nga Tohu me nga wheako | Qualifications and Experience
Ideally, Level 3 Horticulture with a desire to continue with Level 4 although this is not essential as training will be provided for an enthusiastic applicant
Demonstrated competence in a similar role
Demonstrated knowledge of plants, growth patterns,
Highly motivated, flexible, and able to take initiative
NZ Drivers License and the ability to drive a small manual truck

Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
The ability to work well with colleagues as part of a team, and be highly responsible and reliable
The ability to focus attention on our residents' needs while remaining calm and courteous
A high level of fitness as this job is very physical.
