Key responsibilities:
SENCO: Committed to ensuring equity and success for all students, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, the community, and agencies to create a secure and nurturing environment that strengthens student wellbeing and engagement.
Support Culturally Responsive practice: Strong knowledge of research-based, evidence-driven pedagogical practices with a focus on Maori and Pasifika perspectives and a deep commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Support Curriculum and Assessment: Demonstrates strong expertise in the New Zealand Curriculum and assessment frameworks, using data-driven decision-making to monitor student progress and support curriculum development that promotes student learning.
Support Professional Learning & Development: Capable of providing mentorship and coaching to teachers and leaders to improve teacher capability and foster ongoing professional growth.
Start date: Term 1 or by negotiation.
