Korero mo te turanga - About the role Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to assist the legal academics responsible for LAWS212 on a fixed-term, part-time basis, starting in February 2025 for eight to ten months.
This role is based in Te Kauhanganui Tatai Ture - Faculty of Law and you will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of the LAWS212 course content.
Key responsibilities: Designing and running workshops in both Trimester one and two.
Assessment marking support.
Running office hours for student consultation.
O pumanawa - About you Applications are welcome from law graduates, postgraduate law students, and senior undergraduate law students who: Have an LLB or equivalent.
Have an excellent academic record.
Demonstrate sharp analytical skills, knowledge and understanding of tort law.
Are confident, empathetic, and have the desire to support students to excel in their legal study.
