Teachers (2 Positions)

Full time, Fixed term, Start Date: 30/01/2025, End Date: 16/12/2025 (Covering roles whilst the school recruits permanently)
Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher
Subjects: English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Maori, The arts
Two full-time fixed-term (1 year) teaching positions from January 2025.
Due to a combination of retirement, resignation and kahui-ako leave, possible flow-on effects from internal appointments and the outcomes of our roll-based staffing allocation, there will be up to two teaching positions available from Y1 to Y6 in 2025.
It is expected that all applicants can confidently deliver modern researched-base Pedagogy.
Applicants in the Y1-4 area should have experience in a play-based learning environment and in the implementation of a Structured Literacy Approach.
It would be advantageous for applicants in the Year 5-6 area to have experience in the DMIC approach to mathematics.
The ability to integrate Te Reo and Tikanga Maori across the curriculum would be an advantage for all positions.
