Full time, Fixed term, Start Date: 07/02/2025, End Date: 19/12/2025 (Teacher leave) Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Maori, The arts Kapakapanui School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher/kaiako to join our team in 2025, working with either Y1–2 or Y3–4 akonga.
We are looking for someone with strengths in collaborative teaching, a solid knowledge of maths and literacy, and experience in learning through play and the Better Start Literacy Approach (BSLA).
You will have a passion for delivering a local curriculum, integrated teaching, and inspiring our students to achieve.
Building strong relationships with our akonga, whanau, and community is at the heart of what we do, so excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
