The successful candidate will be joining a well-resourced department and will:
Have design and manufacturing skills in wood, metals, and plastics in line with NZ Curriculum
Teach a variety of hard materials classes with a focus on technical skills, workshop safety, and creativity
Design and lead hands-on projects that inspire curiosity, craftsmanship, and real-world problem-solving
Utilise CAD/CAM and machinery to develop skills for students in the end-to-end design process.
Having knowledge and experience in computer-aided design (CAD/CAM), digital, and visual technology will be advantageous.

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position are set by the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $59,027 to $99,216 depending on the applicant's qualifications and experience. Individual actual base salary is established by a salary assessment.
