As a Nursery Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a warm and engaging learning environment, promoting children's holistic development through responsive, respectful caregiving and play-based learning.

Role Requirements / Nga whakaritenga mahi: - Provide high-quality education and care for children under 2 years, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities, experiences, and routines based on the principles of Te Whariki and the learning goals of each child.
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents/whanau, and team members to foster a collaborative and supportive learning community.
- Observe and document children's development and learning progress through learning stories, portfolios, and assessments.
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and engaging environment for all children, promoting their sense of well-being and belonging.
- Communicate regularly with parents/whanau regarding their child's development and daily routines.
- Collaborate with the wider teaching team to create a cohesive and enriching learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience: - Either teacher in training or Caregiver with experience
- Experience working with infants and toddlers in an early childhood setting is preferred.
- Sound knowledge of Te Whariki and early childhood development principles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with children, parents, and team members.
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences.
