Key Requirements: Active and energeticInterested in working with childrenWilling to undergo trainingWell-supported working environmentDuties may include any combination of the following tasks: Provide in class/group/individual assistance with literacy and numeracy programmesIn-class support of group and individual student learning needs across all curriculum areas and levels as required.Withdrawal support of group and individual student learning needs across all curriculum areas and levels as requiredAssistance with reader/writer or other assistance for assessmentSupport the learning of any ORRS funded student as per his/her IEPSupport individual students education needs as requiredProvides direct support for specific behavioural needs of individual students to enhance the students ability to integrate, improve, be independent, and participate more fully in the school.Implement behavioural needs of students, there must be constant monitoring for escalating behaviours and diffusing of these situations.General Responsibilities Comply with all board policies and relevant legislationAccountable for following the schools agreed expectationsTo implement the school PB4L system as prescribed.To participate in offered professional development.Position is for a fixed term: 12th November - 13th December ( 5 days a week)
Hours: Starting hours are 10 hours per week increasing to 4 hours per day by end of term.
