Teacher Aide

Details of the offer

We are looking for a committed, team player to join our team at Linton Camp School as a Teacher Aide. Our school is on an upward journey in both our focus on learning and achievement and also in Te Ao Maori - if these are passions of yours, you may be the right person!

You'll be part of a great team working to support our learners. We work hard but have a lot of fun too! Our kids are awesome and there is a strong community supporting us in our mahi.

This role is targeted mostly at supporting neurodiverse learners and helping to manage behaviour and facilitate learning with these akonga. You will be a team player, calm under pressure, but firm and strong with your expectations from our tamariki. You are flexible and willing to respond to different children based on their needs and individual education plan, and know that one size does not fit all!

Previous experience is an asset but not essential - a great attitude and ability to connect with our tamariki is the main thing!

This vacancy closes on Thursday 5 December at 12pm. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview the following week.

This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the Support Staff Collective Agreement 2022-2024.
