Teacher Aide

We are looking for an enthusiastic fixed term Teacher Aide for a part-time (32 hours per week) term time only position starting in term 1 2025. The successful applicant must be flexible, committed, and a good team player. They will also have the necessary skills to work successfully with children, parents, staff, and the overall ACG philosophy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide in-class support for the student
Assist the student to achieve their learning goals
Assist the teacher to write the student's IEP
Accompany the student on school trips where necessary
Work co-operatively with the teaching staff and assist them as directed
Maintain communication with the teacher about the student so that the teacher may communicate directly with the student's parents/guardians
Maintain confidentiality regarding the student at all times

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Previous experience in a similar role
Well organised with the ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple tasks
