Teacher Aides for High and Complex Needs Unit (Te Pukenga), Cashmere High School Cashmere High School has three part-time Teacher Aide positions (27.5 hours per week across five days, Monday to Friday) in our High and Complex Educational Needs unit assisting students that have a variety of physical, cognitive and emotional needs.
We are looking for applicants with experience working one on one with students with diverse learning needs both in the mainstream environment as well as in transition programmes.
This requires a high level of responsibility.
Full training will be provided, and professional development opportunities will be available to the successful applicant.
This is a rewarding and challenging position joining a dedicated and experienced team of colleagues.
The hours of work are 8.45am – 2.45pm, and are term time only.
These positions are fixed-term for the 2025 school year, starting on 29 January and finishing on Tuesday 9 December.
Remuneration will be Grade B-C Step 6 of the Support Staff Collective agreement which is currently $30.22.
A Tiaki allowance of $2.96 per hour will also be paid.
