We are focused on diversity in race, gender, orientation and experience.Who you are:As a systems engineer, you will be an escalation path for our customer success team and aid with support tasks relating to on premise and cloud systems predominantly relating to SharePoint, the Power Platform, and M365.The systems engineering team will provide direction on implementation and migration activities, while working closely with our modern workplace consulting team to make the most of the ever-evolving Microsoft 365 platform.What you will be doing:Providing technical support to internal and external clients.Providing technical fault analysis and troubleshooting.Administering network servers, services, user accounts and related objects and data.Implementing and monitoring network security and alerts.Delivery of infrastructure & cloud services and support for internal and external customers ensuring that project deliverables, timelines and budget milestones are met.In collaboration with the wider Engineering Team, assist in the deployment and implementation of software, services and solutions.Performing code releases to production and pre-production platforms.In collaboration with the wider Engineering team, lead in the deployment and implementation of software, services and solutions.Performing migrations and Office365 builds.Technical Consulting:Solve problems and work through complex technical issues and situations.Leverage expertise in relevant technologies from internal stakeholders.Produce or update technical design documentation.Work with the Engagement Managed Services team to understand each client's contractual agreements (including SLAs) and manage ongoing support and maintenance.Meet with stakeholders to understand ongoing issues and constraints.What you need:You will have completed a tertiary certification in a relevant discipline.Expertise in at least one of the following products or platforms will be an advantage: Azure, DevOps, Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, Power Apps, Software Development or SQL Server.Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions will be a key focus of this role.Experience working in a helpdesk or support role is desired.An understanding of Engineering Methodology including CI/CO pipelines and Infrastructure as code (Azure DevOps).Experience with the following technologies:Cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services.Microsoft Office 365.Microsoft Windows Server.Microsoft Internet Information Server.Microsoft SQL Server.Working knowledge of the following technologies:Virtualisation (Microsoft Hyper-V & VMWare).Engineering Methodology including CI/CO pipelines and Infrastructure as code.
