The Opportunity
Work in structured teams supported by SET trainees and consultants to improve your diagnostic and surgical skills whilst increasing your experience in all aspects of surgical care.
MidCentral District provides an excellent grounding for General Surgical Registrars looking to grow and develop their skills. As a provider of tertiary cancer services, MidCentral undertakes a range of complex surgeries with superb learning opportunities as well as hands-on operating time and outpatient clinics.

About you
Our ideal candidate will have:
Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or be eligible for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. You can check your eligibility for registration by visiting the Council's website at www.mcnz.org.nz .
Completed PGY2 or equivalent.
