New Zealand Government – Wellington, North IslandFull time, PermanentOur opportunityPermanent Surgical Registrar positions at Wellington, Kenepuru and Hutt Hospitals commencing in Run 2 (July 29 2024 - 26 January 2025).Applications are being received now and candidates will be interviewed on an ongoing basis.The Wellington Region RMO positions are rotational across multiple hospitals, including Wellington Regional, Kenepuru, Hutt Valley and Masterton Hospitals.The Wellington Region offers Runs in General Surgery; Vascular; Paediatric Surgery; Cardiothoracic; Neurosurgery; Urology; Otolaryngology; Orthopaedics; and Plastics.Experience and EligibilitySuitable for Resident Medical Officers who will be PGY3/F3 or above by the role commencement date. You must have eligibility for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.You will need to be a NZ or Australian citizen or resident, or have an appropriate visa to be eligible to live and work in NZ.What's in it for me?Wellington is a vibrant place to live and work and has repeatedly been voted as New Zealand's top lifestyle city.
