About the job:
Full Time and Part Time positions available.
Our RIDSAS service is contracted to provide rehabilitation services to people with high and complex needs who have had contact with the judicial system.
Our person-centred approach utilises your exceptional communication skills and empathy to understand and support individuals with challenging behaviour on their journey towards personal growth and self-improvement.
Our Support Workers are resilient, patient, non-judgemental and solutions focused with an understanding of Trauma Informed Care. You will have a genuine interest in supporting people to achieve their goals, learn new skills and develop meaningful community connections.
We see challenging behaviour as communication and respond with empathy and patience.

Requirements:
Hold a full current New Zealand driver's license.
Be eligible to work in New Zealand
Hold a current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to complete one at our cost)
Willingness to undergo vetting as part of the organisation's commitment to safeguarding children and vulnerable people.
