Support Worker | Whanganui | MFC Whanganui, NZ Permanent We are currently looking for experienced Support Workers to work with our client based in Whanganui. Due to the intimate nature of the cares, we are looking for someone who has worked in a hospital environment and with children in the past. Due to the complexity of the cares, commitment to the shifts is vital.
This is a role where no two days are the same. You will have the ability to work one on one with our clients, to ensure they live their best life possible.
Requirements:
Previous experience handling children
Child specific First Aid
Assisting clients with personal cares
Confident to handle cares independently
Must have a clean and valid NZ driving licence
Must be eligible to work in NZ
Subject to clean police clearance check
Able to commit to the shifts
Healthcare qualification of Level 3 or above
Training will be provided
Competency in emergency management
Tasks:
Personal cares
CPR/First aid
Bathing, feeding & developmental therapies
Mobility, positioning, grooming, and home help
Meal preparation, assisting with medication if required
Transfer through hoist
Shifts:
Monday to Friday 06:30 AM – 9:30 AM
